“在富人/财富到来之前 Before the Rich Comes” 是几位在罗马湖附近生活的艺术家们于2021年末发起和命名这个创作社群（BRC Studio）时用于自我提示的背景信息。与之相应的，BRC Studio 希望参与的艺术家们也能和周边现有的物质环境建立起新的联结。这种命运与理念交织的氛围不时令我想象这处用作活动大本营的农家院子在另一个时间中也可能汇聚着相当不同的人群，例如变身为一座民俗色彩浓厚的小庙。

“Before the Rich Comes” is the contextual information that several artists who live near Luoma Lake area wish to remind themselves when they launch and name this creative community (BRC Studio) in late 2021. Accordingly, the BRC studio hopes that the participating artists will also establish a new connection with the existing physical environment around the area. This atmosphere of intertwined destinies and ideas makes me imagine that the village courtyard used as a base camp for the events could bring together quite a different group of people at different time, for example by transforming into a small temple with a strong folklore character.
