南海争议的一大焦点问题在于“九段线”感性的疆域意识。“九段肠”采用香肠模型和定位大头针替换并再造了这一传统天下体制影响下的边界识别。

A major hot topic in the South China Sea territorial disputes is the perceptual territorial awareness surrounding the "nine-dashed line". In the work Nine Segments of Sausage, miniature models of sausages are used alongside positioning pins to substitute and reinvent the visual identification proper to geographic boundaries, as is prevalent under the influence of the traditional Chinese world systems.
