BRC Studio楼顶的温室很有些想象空间。在我的第一印象中，它似乎就是为了展示自己可以观察周围的动静而建造的。在疫情结束后，恰好我希望有机会能更好地去理解因社会紧急状态而重要性飞升的工种，如得益于“治安外包”而被临时委派了社区管理职责的志愿者和保安公司。 因此，如何能在一个罗各庄的半空中设立一个多余的执勤岗哨便成为我“脑雾”的发端。
也因为这个想法，展览中的艺术家们和我分享了不少过去一两年内他们在村子附近目睹或耳闻的执勤点的故事。此外，艺术家们还带我在废墟中遍寻相关的废弃物，令我得以去追踪一团恪守疫政的幻影，或者说一种可以被召之即来，挥之即去的社会人格。

The conservatory on the rooftop of the BRC Studio provides ample room for imagination. My initial impression was that it has been built to show that it could watch the hustle and bustle around. Coincidentally, after the pandemic, I had been longing for an opportunity to better understand the significance of professions that soared in importance during times of social emergency, such as volunteers and security companies that have been temporarily assigned community management duties as a result of "outsourcing policing". Hence, the idea of setting up a redundant security post in the mid-air of the Luogezhuang village became the starting point of my “brain fog”.
This notion led the participating artists in the exhibition to share the stories of those security posts they had witnessed or heard in the vicinity of the village in the past year or two. Beyond descriptions, the artists also accompanied me to search through the ruins for relevant discarded materials, enabling me to trace a cluster of phantoms devoted to epidemic governance or a type of social personality that can be recruited and dismissed at will.
